Hello! Welcome to the My Body & Yours blog.
We're excited to launch this new platform for writing longer-form content. We'll still be producing the same bite-size, accessible posts on our Instagram, Twitter and TikTok, but now we also have a space to explore ideas and topics in a little more depth.
So, what can you expect from the My Body & Yours blog?
💬 Interviews
We're thrilled to announce our new interview series — Getting Intimate — where we speak with people who are making a difference in the world of sex, relationships, gender and feminism. Interviews will be posted monthly, and we already have a really exciting line-up of interviewees, including bloggers, authors and activists.
Our debut interview is already live, make sure you check out our conversation with the wonderful Dee Whitnell, also known as @s3xtheorywithdee.
📚 Reviews & Recommendations
There are so many incredible books, films, series and podcasts out there about sex and gender, and we want to share our favourites with you.
Expect must-read lists, documentary reviews and resource recommendations from a professional sex educator — whether you're seeking something for yourself, or a young person you know, this is the place to look.
💭 Think Pieces & Educational Articles
It's extremely fun to get nerdy with sex and gender. We want to untangle the deep, embedded thoughts that we all have about sex and relationships, or gender and sexuality — lay them on the table and question what we find.
There's also a whole bunch of science behind the way that we behave in sexual settings, and learning the way your brain works can help you to take your sex life to the next level. So, here you'll find posts about why your body behaves the way it does, and what you can do about it!
👯♀️ Guest Blogs
This may be a while off yet, but we would love to get some other people contributing their thoughts and ideas to My Body & Yours. We earnestly want to portray a range of experiences, and the best way to do that is to hear from a diverse variety of people.
If you're a writer and you would like to contribute to our blog, please get in touch.
We're so incredibly excited about this new venture and we hope you are too!
